Timeline of Avicii's life
- 1989 - Born in Stockholm, Sweden as Tim Bergling. Son of Kias Bergling and actress Anki Lidén.
- 2010 - released the hit song "Seek Bromance", which reached the top 20 in several countries, including Belgium, France, the Netherlands,United Kingdom, and Sweden.
- 2011 - Released "Levels", which launched him into the mainstream. "Levels" reached the top ten in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia and the United Kingdom, whilst topping the charts in Hungary, Norway and Sweden.
- 2012 - Collaboration track "Sunshine" with David Guetta was nominated for a Grammy award under the category for Best Dance Recording.
- 2012 - Made history as the first DJ to headline the world-famous Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
- 2013 - Nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording with "Levels" at the 2013 Grammy Awards
